Blanchard Valley Health System broke ground for a new Medical Center in Carey Thursday. The health system is building a 15,800 square-foot-facility near the U.S. 23 interchange on the village’s south side. It’s going to take the place of a 1,600 square-foot-office currently in operation.
The new center will host three doctors. It will also have X-ray, imaging and laboratory services. BVHS plans to make its specialists available for more regular visits to Carey.
Blanchard Valley CEO Scott Malaney said the health system is looking forward to having a bigger presence in Carey.
