(ONN) – Ohio’s attorney general says he’s looking into immigrant populations in Ohio’s towns and cities.
Attorney General Dave Yost is reviewing legal challenges of what he says is caused by a quote ‘influx of migrants in communities.’
He’s pointing to certain federal regulation.
His office says the move comes in response to concerns of surging migrant populations, specifically in Springfield, Ohio.
He argues the large waves of migrants are straining the community’s educational, medical and economic systems.
