Teen Arrested After Fleeing From Findlay Officers And Wrecking Into Home

08/11/17 – 1:41 P.M.

Findlay Police arrested a teen that fled a traffic stop and crashed into a home this morning. Police report that an officer stopped a car driven by 18-year-old Marcus Sierra at the McDonald’s on Tiffin Avenue around 9:45 a.m. After the officer made contact Sierra took off through the parking lots until he reached Londonderry Drive.

He continued on Londonderry until he lost control and crashed into a parked truck and trailer at 611 Londonderry Drive. His car ended up underneath the trailer, forcing it into the porch and roof of the home. The crash also ripped off the gas meter causing a gas leak. Columbia Gas shut the gas off after being called to the scene.

Sierra fled on foot but officers found him. He is being held in the at the Hancock County Justice Center. He had active warrants for his arrest. He is also facing charges of fleeing and eluding, failure to stop at a stopsign, and leaving the scene of a crash.
