Former Editor At The Courier Passes Away

A former editor at the Courier passed away over the weekend. Bob Hesse ran the Courier’s newsroom for 30 years and worked for the newspaper for 42 years. Hesse was 73-years-old.

Hesse retired from the newspaper in 2007. Aside from editor, he also served as city editor, managing editor, and executive editor.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Smith-Crates Funeral Home in North Baltimore.
