Road work continues in many spots in Hancock County this week. ODOT says crews continue to work on a culvert on U.S. 224 east of Findlay and a bridge on State Route 12 west of Benton Ridge. ODOT has closed both highways near the construction areas for the time being.

You’ll also see lane restrictions on State Routes 613 and 18 between Van Buren and Fostoria as crews remove pavement reflectors. They’re preparing for tarring and chipping work in that area.

ODOT also plans daily lane closures in early August on U.S. 68 between the Findlay Airport and the Eagle Creek. They are installing a cable barrier in the median in that area.

There is some good traffic news coming this week. ODOT says the exit ramp from Route 15 to U.S. 68 south of Findlay should reopen.
