We’ll see some new road closures and lane shifts related to the I-75 widening project in Findlay this week. ODOT is closing River Road and Howard Street underneath the I-75 bridge starting today. The closures will last around 90 days. ODOT plans to maintain traffic to homes and businesses in the area.
The agency also has a change in the traffic pattern on I-75 planned for this week. ODOT says crews will shift one lane of southbound traffic to the northbound side of the interstate by late this week. During the transition drivers who want to get to U.S. 224 and State Route 12 will follow a detour on northbound I-75. Once workers complete the shift, drivers who want to exit at U.S. 224 and Route 12 will use the far-right lane, while through traffic will use the lane shifted toward the northbound side.
ODOT expects the shift to last through the rest of the summer.
