Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik joined a summit in Washington D.C and talked about regulations on infrastructure. She said that federal government wants to help out.
She said that regulations on building infrastructure sometimes burden projects.
Mihalik explained that the tests and licenses make sense for some projects but not others. She said that Findlay had to do a $4,200 environmental assessment for an $800 waterline replacement.
