A Findlay summertime tradition may have to move to a new location, at least for this year. The Arts Partnership is making backup plans just in case road work on Main Street affects Boogie on Main. Events director Kelda Heitkamp wrote a letter to the Hancock County Commissioners asking for permission to use parts of Broadway Street if the road work is underway by June 2.
Peggy Gandbois of the Arts Partnership clarified Tuesday afternoon that they still plan to hold the event on Main Street, but want a backup just in case.
The commissioners agreed to let the Arts Partnership use the county parking lot at Main Cross and Cory streets and the vacant lot at 222 Broadway.
Boogie is set for June 2 from 6 p.m. until midnight.
