Officials say a man died over the weekend after falling from a cliff at Hocking Hills State Park.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources confirmed that 22-year-old Alexander Colson was killed when he fell 75-feet from an overlook near Old Man’s Cave.

Colson went off trail and fell after losing his balance and was flown to a hospital where he died.

This is the second death from a fall at the park this year.

The ODNR says hikers need to stay on the trails to guarantee their safety.
