A student at Bowling Green State University is facing charges stemming from an incident in one of the college’s dorms. The Sentinel-Tribune reports the Wood County grand jury indicted 20-year old Diaba Diane of Toledo on counts of abduction, extortion, and intimidation of an attorney, victim, or witness in a criminal case.
Investigators say Diane and three others showed up in the residence hall and told the victim they weren’t leaving until they were paid what they were owed. The group allegedly wanted to force the victim to go to Kroger to get them money.
Two other members of the group who are not students at the University are also facing charges in the case.
