Two Teens Sentenced For Role In Home Invasion

5/1/19 – 5:08 A.M.

Two of the teenagers involved in a Hancock County home invasion are heading to prison. 19-year-old Deven Blythe of Findlay will spend four years in prison for a kidnapping conviction. He’ll serve another 11 months for receiving stolen property. 18-year-old Rodney Williams Jr. of Findlay will spend a total of four years behind bars for convictions on the same charges.

The Hancock County grand jury indicted Blythe and Williams along with 18-year-old Hunter Kelbley of Upper Sandusky, 19-year-old Devin Kerr of Bowling Green, and 18-year-old Alexandra Ayala of Dunkirk back in January.

Ayala pleaded guilty last Wednesday to an aggravated burglary charge with an amended specification and receiving stolen property. Kelbley received a four-year prison sentence in March. Kerr is set for sentencing on May 20th.
