The United Way of Hancock County interim CEO has announced that they will be implementing some changes over the next six weeks. Chris Ostrander was selected to fulfill the role following former CEO John Urbanski’s retirement. Ostrander said that he met with partner agency leaders to talk about issues working with the United Way. He said that these leaders wanted the United Way to have better communication, more clarity on and the streamlining of the funding process, and continued community outreach to businesses to improve upon the workplace giving campaign.
Ostrander said that they will change the management process to make United Way easier to do business with. He added that this will improve communication and clearly identify timelines. It will also expand outreach to the business community.
