The American Red Cross and members of a University of Findlay club will be visiting over 800 homes in northwest Findlay. The organizations will be installing free smoke alarms, replacing batteries in existing alarms, and helping families create escape plans. The effort is called “Sound the Alarm”. It is being put on by North Central Ohio Chapter of the Red Cross and the University of Findlay’s American Society of Safety Professionals Club.

The event will be on February 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
