Many Hancock County Voters Deciding To Vote Early

The Hancock County Board of Elections says a lot of people are voting early in the November 5th election.

Early voting began on October 8 and we asked Jody Beall O’Brien with the board of elections how it has been going so far.

“It’s very steady. We are voting on an average of over 600 a day, and that is fairly high for absentee voting, early voting, here in the office,” Jody told WFIN.

Looking ahead to Election Day on November 5, Jody says they have enough poll workers and even some new faces of people who haven’t been a poll worker before but wanted to help out knowing how high voter turnout is expected to be on Election Day.

The remainder of the early voting schedule is below.

October 26 – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
October 27 – 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
October 28 – 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
