Children’s Mentoring Connection of Hancock County will be holding an open house this week.
On Thursday, August 4, CMC will host a Lunch and Learn from 11 to 1 at the Downtown YMCA in Findlay and an Open House from 6 to 8 p.m.
Staff will be on hand to answer questions you may have about their programs.
Applications will be available.
CMC is currently accepting applications for volunteers from high school age students and older to be a part of the programs.
The Community Mentoring Program connects a child ages 6 to 14 with an adult mentor.
Together they meet two to three times a month to have fun, learn new things and explore opportunities and interests each child may have.
Mentoring is open to children living with single parents and grandparents primarily.
Children’s Mentoring Connection of Hancock County’s Summer Recruitment initiative has been underway.
