A person was flown to a Toledo hospital after being pulled from a house fire in Fostoria.
Firefighters responded to 161 Sandusky Street at 11:37 Sunday morning for a reported active fire.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the house.
Firefighters located a male inside the residence and got him out and starting performing life-saving measures.
The male was then taken to Fostoria Community Hospital and then flown to a Toledo hospital.
Two Fostoria firefighters were treated at Fostoria Community Hospital for minor injuries.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s office was called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
It’s unknown if there were any working smoke detectors in the house.
The Fostoria Fire Division reminds residents that it has free smoke detectors available to any residence in Fostoria and the surrounding areas.
