Findlay Mayor Christina Muryn is seeking candidates to serve on various boards and commissions within the City of Findlay for which she makes appointments.
“I am grateful for the individuals who take the time out of their busy schedules to serve their community on boards and commissions. They are an important part of having a successful community,” Muryn said.
“Historically, these appointments are made by the Mayor reaching out to individuals they know would serve the board well and that is fantastic. However, I also want to get more individuals involved. There may be candidates that would serve the community well that I am not aware of or someone interested in a role I would not have thought of them for.”
There are positions available on the following boards and commissions: Blanchard Valley Port Authority, Board of Zoning Appeals, Downtown Design Review Board, Hancock Regional Planning Commission, Parks & Recreation Board and the Revolving Loan Fund Board.
People interested in serving should email the Mayor at cmuryn@findlayohio.com by Wednesday, November 17th, at 5pm with a resume or background about themselves, contact information, and which board or commission they are interested in.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the City of Findlay, Ohio.
