According to Golf Digest, the PGA is moving the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio from early June to the middle of July.
The report comes on the heels of statements last week from Memorial founder Jack Nicklaus, who said it was looking like the coronavirus pandemic would mean the tournament would shift to a later date.
Originally scheduled for June 4th through the 7th, the new date has the Memorial being played from July 16th through the 19th, which would have been when the now canceled British Open was to take place.
Golf Digest is reporting that the PGA has announced a modified schedule that will begin on June 11th with the Charles Schwab Challenge, without any fans in attendance.
