The Findlay Police Department says a mental health patient is still unaccounted for after running from Blanchard Valley Hospital on Monday.
Police say the man, whose name has not been released, fled the hospital during a mental health screening a little before 1 o’clock Monday afternoon and ran in a southwest direction.
Chamberlin Hill Intermediate School on West Yates Avenue was locked down for a few hours as a precaution.
The patient wasn’t found at that time, but was located on Monday night by another agency and taken back to the hospital.
However, he immediately fled again, again running in a southwest direction.
Police told WFIN News Wednesday morning that the man still has not been located and they have no leads on a possible location for him.
He’s a white male, standing about five feet eleven and weighing 150 pounds with brown hair.
He fled the hospital wearing only a hospital gown and he had dark paint on his face.
Anyone who believes they may have seen the man or know where he is should call the police.
Police say the man has made no threats or threatening actions to the general public.
