(WFIN) – Findlay police officers chased a man through the city after responding to a call of a man driving through a yard at Family Resource Center and threatening to harm people.
Officers say 52-year-old David Luth drove south down North Main Street when officers arrived and refused to pull over.
The pursuit went through the school zones at Glenwood Middle School and the University of Findlay where Luth allegedly hit speeds over 60 mph.
Officers say Luth drove over a curb and into a residential yard on Frazer Street where he came to a stop.
Luth was charged with fleeing and eluding and is being held in the Hancock County Justice Center until he can be taken to a psychiatric hospital for further evaluation.
