Putnam County will have six less polling location in November. The Lima News reports the Putnam County Board of Elections approved the changes recently. Director Karen Lammers tells the newspaper they decided to consolidate locations to save money when they bought new voting machines.
Lammers says the new machines will make voting quicker. They’ll use the machines in the upcoming November general election.
