Residents in the Arcadia school district will see a renewal levy on the ballot next Tuesday. Superintendent Bruce Kidder says the levy raises more than $800,000 a year for operations. That includes costs like transportation, building maintenance, and teacher salaries.
Kidder says the levy is not paying for the construction of new classrooms at the school. The district is paying for that work with money already set aside for the project.
Voters in the Arcadia district first approved the operations levy in 2004. They last renewed it in 2014.
