Japanese companies doing business in northwest Ohio have concerns about worker shortages. Consul General Tsutomu Nakagawa talked about the worker shortage and tariffs in Findlay last week. Nakagawa added that despite those challenges there are still investment opportunities in northwest Ohio.
The Consul General said they also want to collaborate to address the challenges facing future investment in the region. That includes working to attract talented workers.
Nakagawa added that tariffs are hurting Japanese companies in Ohio, and the Ohio economy at large.
