The Liberty-Benton school district has narrowed its list of construction and renovation options. District officials paired the list down after getting survey results from residents in the district. Around 54 percent of those who responded liked the idea of building a new pre-k through eighth-grade building and renovating the high school. The next most popular idea is adding onto and renovating the high school to make it a pre-k through 12th-grade building. Around 27 percent of people who responded to the survey picked that option.
All of the other options, including doing nothing, received less than 10 percent support.
397 people took the survey. Around 100 people who responded don’t have kids in the district. Josh Predovich is a project manager with SHP Leading Design. He says the response rate was “really good.”
