A two-car crash seriously injured a Mount Blanchard woman late Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at the intersection of Hancock County roads 7 and 330 around 5:30 p.m.

61-year-old Timothy Kummerer of New Riegel was driving an SUV east on Road 7 when he ran a stop sign and hit a southbound car driven by 75-year-old Ruthann Bushong. Hanco EMS took Bushong to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Kummerer went to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers cited Kummerer for failure to yield from a stop sign.
