Fourth-grade students at Bigelow Hill Intermediate School put their design skills to the test Wednesday. The students presented home designs to Habitat for Humanity and worked to persuade them to adopt their plans. The kids divided into small groups to create blueprints, 3D models, and essays for the project.
Some designs included game rooms dedicated to playing Fortnite. Others featured slightly more practical ideas like open dining rooms.
The event was an example of the “project-based learning” concept that Findlay City Schools are focusing on.
