Cooper Tire and Rubber Company signed on as a founding member for a new program focused on sustainable natural rubber. Cooper took part in the ceremony on Monday, joining the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber or GPSNR. The program will lead improvements to the economic and environmental performance of the natural rubber value chain.

Members of GPSNR will work together to prevent land-grabbing, protect biodiversity and water resources, and improve respect for human rights.
