October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Putnam County Crime Victim Services reports that 260 to 340 adults are physically abused by a current or former partner every year. That does not include emotional or sexual abuse.

Crime Victim Services will have a demonstration from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on November 6 at the Leipsic Community Center. They will talk about what is healthy and unhealthy in relationships. You can learn more by calling 419-523-1111
