Two Injured In Weekend Crash Near Vanlue

A two-car crash injured two people near Vanlue over the weekend. The State Highway Patrol says 68-year-old Ronald Fredritz of Carey was driving a pickup truck  on Hancock County Road 169 around 11:40 a.m. Saturday when he pulled into the intersection with State Route 15 and into the path of an SUV driven by 52-year-old Thomas Cieslewicz of Powell.

Hanco EMS took Cieslewicz and his passenger, 16-year-old Matthew Cieslewicz, to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Troopers cited Fredritz for failure to yield from a stop sign.
