It’s National Fire Prevention Week and Findlay Fire Fighters are spreading the word. The Findlay Fire Prevention Bureau’s Kevin Shenise said that they are focusing on look, listen, and learn.
Shenise said that you should also learn several ways out of your home or business in the event of a fire. You should also know where you need to go.
Shenise added that heating units will get turned on sooner rather than later.
Shenise said you should make sure everything is clean and functioning properly before you turn them on. He added that you’ll want to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors soon.
