If you live in Liberty Township you’ll see utility aggregation issues on the November ballot. Issues 10 and 11 deal with aggregation for electricity and natural gas. They are part of an energy choice program overseen by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. It lets people to band together to buy natural gas and electricity as a group, which can lead to lower prices for the group.
If approved, residents could opt-out if they like. The township trustees or a designated person would manage the program. The township would have at least two public hearings to hear concerns if the issues passes.
