The addition to the Fostoria Intermediate Elementary School will cost a little more than expected. The Review-Times reports the Fostoria School Board approved a change order for the building project Monday. Superintendent Andrew Sprang says crews installing the heating and cooling system at the intermediate building found that the air handler coils were in disrepair.
Sprang says if they didn’t replace the coils it could void the warranty on the new heating and cooling system.
The change will be included in the scope of work for the renovation project in an amount not to exceed $325,000.
