Findlay Mayor Part Of Group Asking For Answers About Ohio’s Local Government Fund

The amount of income tax dollars coming back to local communities has dwindled over the past several years. A group of mayors in Ohio wants to sit down with the state’s gubernatorial candidates to discuss ways to remedy the problem. Mihalik says the Alliance doesn’t expect the next governor to fully restore the local government fund. They do want to know how they can work together to address the needs and growing list of EPA regulations.

Mihalik says the group is talking to both gubernatorial candidates before November. She adds the Alliance is non-political, so they won’t offer an endorsement based on the conversations.
