Columbus Grove residents will see a new levy to raise money for parks in the village this fall. However, it won’t actually increase their tax bill if it passes. The Putnam County Sentinel reports the village plans to put a quarter of a percent income tax on the ballot in November. It would replace a levy that solely supports the village swimming pool that expires at the end of the year.
According to the ordinance, the levy would support both the pool and the parks.
