A free clinic in Leipsic aims to bring healthcare to families without insurance. The Putnam County Sentinel reports the Leipsic Community Center is partnering with Mercy Health to offer a free health clinic once a month.
Nurse practitioners and nurses from Mercy Health use the facility’s three exam rooms to assess basic health needs. Basic medications are also available for free.
The clinic is open on the last Thursday of every month from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. In November the clinic will open on November 15 instead of the final Thursday. Organizers say they can guarantee service to the first 12 patients and will take others as they can see them.
