The Putnam County Habitat for humanity is looking forward to continuing its work. Habitat’s Matt Rau said that families have some hoops to jump through to get a home.
Rau added that the homes from Habitat from Humanity aren’t free. The people receiving these homes will still have a small mortgage to pay.
Rau said that they are in the process of finding a new place for a home in 2019.
Raus said that they need a lot that isn’t in the floodplain and also isn’t expensive. Rau said that they are looking for a family to support in 2019. If you would like to volunteer or see if you’re eligible for a home you can call the Putnam County Habitat for Humanity at 419-523-9621.
