A few area nursing homes and assisted living facilities ranked in the top 25 of the state. The Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman released the results of the 2017 Long-Term Care Resident Satisfaction Survey. A total of 23,145 residents in over 900 nursing homes were surveyed. Over 12,800 residents of more than 680 assisted living facilities were also questioned.
Willow Ridge of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio of Bluffton and The Meadows of Ottawa made the nursing home list. They were ranked 4th and 6th respectively. The Judson Palmer Home of Findlay and the Vancrest of Ada Assisted Living made it onto the assisted living charts. They ranked 17th and 20th respectively.
