It’s taking a little longer than expected to install some new equipment at Litter Landing in Findlay. The Courier reports director Courtney Comstock gave the Hancock County commissioners an update on operations Thursday. Comstock says they bought an automated horizontal baler from Ely Enterprises in Lorain in December.
The plan called for delivery and installation within four to six weeks. The company now says it will install the baler on March 6. As a result of the delay, they are extending the maintenance agreement.
Comstock says the equipment manufacturer was responsible for the delay.
