Hancock County has a new electric supplier for county-owned buildings. The county commissioners approved a deal with Dynegy Energy Services East during their Thursday meeting. The contract starts in May.
The county will see estimated savings of more than $24,700 the first year, more than $35,000 the second year and over $40,000 in the third year. That’s compared to their current contract with AEP.
