More updates have come in from the murder trial of 29-year-old Brent Houdeshell for allegedly killing 2-year-old Breyden Ferell. The Courier’s Eileen McClory reports that Lucas County Deputy Coroner Dr. Cynthia Beisser took the stand today. She said that the head injury Ferell suffered was serious.
Earlier in the week, the defense had claimed that Ferell could have fallen out of an unsafe crib. McClory said that Dr. Cynthia Beisser’s testimony didn’t back that up.
Beisser said she believed the boy was murdered.
