The man who stabbed another at the Planet Fitness on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay won’t be facing charges. The Courier’s Eileen McClory reports the grand jury decided against indicting 32-year-old Michael Smith. Smith was accused of stabbing 42-year-old Jason Turner. McClory reported that the two have known each other and used to play basketball together.

Turner thought his ex-girlfriend, 47-year-old Ann Morman, was conspiring against him with Smith. This lead to the altercation in the parking lot of Planet Fitness where Smith stabbed Turner. Smith claims that he feared for his life as Turner attacked him. Turner said that Smith struck first and that he was trying to defend himself when Smith pulled out the knife.
