The Fostoria Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery from the past weekend. Police Chief Keith Loreno says the incident happened at the Circle K at 551 East Lytle Street around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Loreno says the suspect tried to rob the business after throwing an object against the wall. The person didn’t take anything.

Officers are reviewing the security video. Loreno says they have some people of interest in the case.
