The Findlay Noon Rotary Club gave more than $50,000 to area charities recently. The Courier reports the club raised the money through its biannual “Rotathatlon” event. A group of Rotary captains drafted teams made up of club members who raise money throughout the competition. Each team adopts a local charity of their choice.
The Crime Prevention Association Boot Project, Findlay Family YMCA, and Hancock County Habitat for Humanity were among 10 organizations receiving money. You can see a full list in today’s Courier.
