Law enforcement officers in northwest Ohio pulled over more than 2,200 people over a 60-hour period last week. The State Highway Patrol reports nearly 30 agencies in a 12 county area of northwest Ohio took part in the “Lights for Lives” campaign. The stops resulted in more than 1,000 citations and the arrest of 34 impaired drivers.
The campaign ran from November 20 through November 22.
The State Patrol says there were no fatal crashes on roads in the region during the traffic blitz.
