Two people are dead and three more are injured after a crash near Bowling Green. The Courier reports that the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. A Ford Focus was heading south on Rudolph Road and failed to yield at the intersection with U.S. 6. A Ford Explorer was going through the intersection at the same time and the two cars collided.
Both front seat occupants of the Focus were pronounced dead at the scene while a rear seat occupant was critically injured. A medical helicopter took them to a hospital. The occupants of the Explorer were in stable condition and taken to a nearby hospital.
The names of those involved are being withheld until families are notified.
