It’s Hire-A-Veteran Month and there are skills that veterans have that employers can miss. Hancock County Veterans Services director Nicole Coleman said that even the veterans themselves might miss putting these skills down.
Coleman said that veterans have excellent leadership, team building, and cooperation skills which can be used in any market.
Coleman said that as veterans help employers, the employers can help the veterans.
Coleman said that most veterans miss being a part of a team and getting hired for a job can be beneficial to them. She added that they can go to veterans.gov to get help on turning their military experience into a resume.
