This week is National School Bus Safety Week and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is taking part. Sergeant Jared Ulinski of the Findlay Post says that people need to remember to stop.
Ulinski added that troopers will be on the buses looking for violations.
He said that you can receive a ticket based on a vehicle and driver description after they get your license plate and witness a violation.
Ulinski said that the stopping rule only applies to both sides of traffic on two-lane roads. You do not have to stop if you are going the opposite direction of a school bus on a road with four or more lanes.
