McComb was recognized into ohiocheckbook.com Wednesday afternoon. Dan Risko is the Deputy Director of Public Affairs under State Treasurer Josh Mandel. He said that being a part of the website will speed up inquiries on how the village spends its money.
McComb is now part of ohiocheckbook.com to practice more transparency in its expenditures. Village mayor Chuck Latta said that he thinks this moves the village in a positive direction.
The website will allow residents to view expense reports and salaries of public entities. You can break it down by item or department. Latta said that it will be updated quarterly.
