Construction efforts are moving forward for the new Fostoria Junior/Senior High school building. The Courier reports the school board approved an early site package for phase one of the construction process during their Tuesday meeting. This clears the way for construction crews to install fencing, bring in job trailers, and start utility work. Phase one should wrap up in December.
The work will cause some changes to traffic around the current school building. You won’t be able to use the north parking lot of the Fostoria Junior/Senior High School building during phase one. Parents must drop their students off at the south entrance of the building. Students and visitors must park in the south parking lot, while staff members may park in the south or east parking lots.
