Residents of the Forest Lake subdivision talked to the County Commissioners about drainage issues Thursday. Residents said a private pond north of the division overflows its southern banks, which leads to water in their homes. Residents in the area of the pond want the southern edge of the property built up so that water doesn’t spill over. The Commissioners say that’s only an option if it won’t cause more flooding elsewhere.
They plan to meet with the owner of the pond to see what options they can work out.
